Gather the right information
Open the exact brand’s measurement instructions before measuring. Have the recommended measuring materials ready, along with the socks you intend to wear. Measure both feet using that method and record the results in the units requested by the chart. A measurement taken using a different method may not correspond to what the chart expects.
Read the chart heading
Check whether the chart describes foot length or another measurement, and whether it is for adults, children, men, women or unisex products. EU, UK and US columns should not be mixed. Never invent a universal conversion between brands. If you are between entries, follow the model-specific guidance or ask the retailer which option is supported by its fit information.
Use your existing pair carefully
Photograph or write down the label of a pair that fits you, including its model. That provides context when contacting support, but it does not override the new model’s chart. Width, upper shape and size labelling can make the same printed number unhelpful across models. A review saying size up is meaningful only if you understand the reviewer’s starting point, which is often missing.
Keep returns part of sizing
Before ordering, check whether the exact discounted item is returnable, how long you have and whether an exchange reserves stock. A refund followed by a new order may expose you to a changed price or unavailable size. Do not assume every store or every GCC country uses the same process. Save the relevant conditions with your order confirmation.
Check on arrival
Match the label and model to your confirmation, then try the pair indoors within the return conditions. Check both feet and the socks you planned to use. Keep tags and packaging until you decide. If the size is unsuitable, start the return process promptly rather than waiting for the deadline. Add the result to your personal size record for the next purchase.
